Friends of the Earth Sweden

Friends of the Earth Sweden is a non-partisan organisation that works on a local, national and  international level to promote sustainability and solidarity.  FoE Sweden is a radical voice in the environmental movement. The organization advocates fair distribution of the earth’s resources and an adaptation of society to what is ecologically sustainable. FoE Sweden strives to increase democracy, as well as gender and cultural equality.
FoE Sweden is  run by a board of directors, two of whom are co-chairpersons.  FoE Sweden’s local groups and commitees work on specific issues and actions. In addition FoE Sweden has many volunteers working with various events and manifestations throughout Sweden as well as paid staff in our Gothenburg office.

We are the Swedish arm of Friends of the Earth International which unites 76 national member organisations, some 5,000 local activist groups, and over two million supporters around the world.
